This £17.5m design and build project involved the construction of a 30,000 sq ft bespoke office facility for Cambridge County Council and a new Combined Justice Centre on a brownfield site.
The building comprises a four storey concrete framed structure which incorporates a basement car park on waterproof concrete - full site dewatering was necessary during substructure works.
The offices utilise the thermal mass of the building and automatically opening windows were incorporated into the design.
The building achieved a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating.
