We developed the Solway Foods project at Manton Wood from a greenfield site on a design, manage and construct basis. The state of the art sandwich manufacturing facility required high risk and low risk separation with hygiene surfaces and sophisticated services to maintain temperature controls throughout the process. The production area extended to 2500 sq m with a mezzanine packaging store, whilst offices and amenities extended to 1200sq m.
Extensive external works included car parking, gatehouses, loading and unloading bays and circulation road.
The project was completed within 32 weeks.
