This Ashford Cold Store project in Kent was developed on a brown field site on a design and build basis. The project comprised a 15,000 pallet capacity cold store including semi-automated racking systems and three-storey picking structure with integral lift.
Included was an amenity building for cold store operations and dispatch docks, together with a new two-storey Head Office facility with linked cold store access for the development kitchen.
Extensive external works included lorry storage, parking areas and landscaping. The facility covers over 7430 sq m of floor area and was completed in just 33 weeks.
